U Bat Sat is a profound artist as well as a reflective social activist. His work often references various factors such as time, context, and conditions with the intention to communicate and build understanding about life and people, even under pressure or in crisis. He works with a variety of mediums and has created a platform, fostering artistic situations that enable collaboration with different stakeholders. His work is primarily research-based, involving scoping visits and site-specific projects. He has consequently extended his creation into semi-abstract painting, expanded to sculpture, printing, and site-specific work. Moreover, he has curated, selected, and organized art events for numerous artists from different generations and genres.
