Lives and works in Berlin, Germany
Aleksandra Domanović explores the intersections of technology, history, and culture, examining how they shape our understanding of identity and contemporary society. She has held major solo exhibitions at Kunsthalle Wien (Vienna, 2024), Galleria d’Arte Moderna (Milan, 2019), moCa Cleveland (2018), and Bundeskunsthalle (Bonn, 2017), among others.
Her work has also been featured in several international biennials, including the Belgrade Biennial (2022), the VAC Foundation exhibition at the 58th Venice Biennale (2019), the 14th Baltic Triennial in Vilnius, Manifesta 11 (Zurich, 2016), the New Museum Triennial (New York, 2015), and the Shanghai Biennale (2014). In 2018, she received the 5th Arnaldo Pomodoro Sculpture Prize in Milan. She is preparing a survey of her work, set to open at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen, in October 2025
