Chantana Tiprachart grew up in Kalasin province in Thailand’s Northeastern region (Isan). She holds a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from Burapha University. Chantana‘s work addresses social issues, cultural traditions, and identity formation. These interests have led her to explore the root causes of structural inequality in society. Her films aim to open up dialogue, to promote understanding and peaceful coexistence. 

Na Han (2019) expands the contemporary understanding of Isan culture, seen through the lifestyle of Isan teenagers and their identification with the Northeast’s Mor Lam performance tradition. 

Tiprachart’s other works include the feature film The Otherness (2015), selected for the Objectifs Film Residency program in Singapore. She was Assistant Director for Motel Mist directed by Prabda Yoon (2015), and Ten Year Thailand ("Sunset" segment) directed by Aditya Assarat (2017). Na Han The Series (2021), broadcast on AIS Play and Channel 3, was the most-watched series of AIS Play, a Thailand on-demand streaming platform. With Chookiat Sakveerakul, she co-directed the series DFF Dead Friend Forever (Channel One31/iQIYI, 2023).

Chantana’s art and video installations have included Flow-Withdraw (Bangkok Art Biennale, 2020), Soo-Kwan 2022 (Ghost, 2022), and objet a (working title) (COSMORAMA, 7th Bangkok Experimental Film Festival, 2025). She is currently working on her third feature film.
