Lives and works in Bangkok, Thailand
Lek Kiatsirikajorn is a Bangkok-based photographer whose work delves into the nuanced complexities of Thai society and history. His photography examines the friction between historical narratives and contemporary perceptions while engaging with the socio-economic transformations that leave a lasting imprint on both the physical environment and individual histories. Capturing moments of subtle tension and unexpected beauty, his images reveal “secondary realities”—social and personal dynamics that are often overlooked. Through an unembellished approach, his work invites a poignant meditation on the unseen elements shaping our collective experience, prompting reflection on the values and contradictions that define our world. Kiatsirikajorn has exhibited widely at photography festivals and museums in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, France, the Netherlands, Finland, Russia, and the United States. His work is part of the permanent photography collection at the Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac in Paris and Thailand’s National Art Collection under the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture.
